At the Lagoon

 We took the kids to the Lagoon last weekend.  What's the Lagoon?  An amusement park in Utah.

 It was the kids' first time in the state of Utah.

 We had a fun time, especially in the morning when the lines weren't as long.

My camera batteries were low so I only got these few pics at the beginning of the day, but they are some classics!

It's October!!

 I love fall!  That brisk breeze and all the beautiful colors!  We went to the corn maze last week and had lots of fun. 

 We didn't find our way all the way through the maze.  We gave up early and headed back to check out all the other fun stuff they had there.

 They had a corn pit (like a sandbox but instead of sand, lots of corn!)  There are still pieces of corn falling out of the dryer when I wash the kids' clothes.

 Tires swings, a cow train, and a pioneer village too!

 And lots of pumpkins!

 Some really big pumpkins!!

Emily and Alaina were with us, but we went the same time as the youth group so they were with friends and I didn't get any pics of them - something they were probably quite happy about.

Corn Harvest!

 It was time to harvest the corn about a week ago.  The kids were excited to be a part of the process and get to ride the "corn picker".

 The boys rode for quite awhile with Ryan too who was discing the field.  They haven't gotten tired of tractors yet!

Byron was driving the corn picker and he let Rylan and Emily try their hand at driving.   Thankfully he didn't let Bowen get a hold of the wheel.

Wedding Bells

   Ryan's niece got married at the end of August so we got dressed up for the occasion. 

  Bowen had a job.  He was the ring bearer.  Surprisingly, he handled it well and did exactly what he was supposed to do (unlike in the picture above when he was supposed to be smiling instead of making funny faces.)   And thanks to Dani we got a couple family shots in too!

New Friends

So we've adopted some new pets since moving to Idaho.  We had to get some kitties - hoping that they will turn out to be good mousers.  This is Sophie . . .

and this is her sister, Georgia.

 We started out with three, but Zorro, their brother has since gone MIA - most likely the victim of a coyote or hawk, poor fellow.

The girls love spending time with their kitties.

 Then we brought this guy on the scene.  This is Gus when we brought him home.  He was 6 weeks old.  So cute!

This is him now at 9 weeks.  He is a good boy.  He likes to spend time with the kitties too.

 Then there is this guy.  

Trouble with a capital T!  We love him though.  In fact, he is kinda our favorite pet so we let this one sleep in the house!

First Week of School Done!

These boys look excited that school is starting back up, don't they?

They went back on Monday and they are already done with their first week.  Things went well for these "new kids".  They said it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be.

 Bowen was glad to have them all back in the house on Friday.  He missed them.  

So did I.
